Our nature-inspired brooch in 18K gold plate displays a row of lustrous freshwater pearls. It celebrates a handsome ceramic vase in The Met collection decorated with a charming motif of willow catkins. Louis C. Tiffany was moved to produce ceramics after seeing examples of French art pottery at the 1900 Exposition Universelle in Paris.
